Files need to be supplied as flattened TIFFs at final size in Adobe RGB 1998 colour space for colour and B&W; at a resolution of 400 pixels per inch(300 and 200 are acceptable). Each file is prepped and tested before final printing. We do not charge set-up charges for this step.

Process file in RGB, do not convert to grayscale. Send along a reference jpeg for conversion and printing

• Sharpening - This is a critical facet of large format printing. If you need assistance, please consult with us before final file prep.
• No Alpha channels - please remove before sending
• Files should be sent in 8 bits per channel RGB
• Flattened .jpg .tif files, or .psd Mac Byte order files
• No compression

NOTE:Colour reference to be supplied with each file, or printer's decision is final.

If you have more than 3 files to transfer, prefer or are more comfortable with using FTP (using FTP to transfer files tends to handle errors better) we have a public FTP server. Files can be uploaded to our public server via Fetch (or similar file transfer software). Private and secure FTP is available, please email for more information.

Please email info@elevatordigital.ca to notify us of the file upload. Include in your email paper type, size and quantity.

We now use yousendit (https://www.yousendit.com/dropbox?dropbox=Elevator) for file uploads to Elevator. You send it is fast and easy, but to ensure that your files receive the proper attention please follow the instructions below:

1. Simply CLICK HERE to launch the form and start the process.
2. The yousendit file upload form will accept multiple files. Simply press "SELECT FILE" for each file to be uploaded.
3. Be sure to include your full name, and email.
4. Within the Message area include complete and detailed instructions for each file uploaded. Please include media, and print dimension and linear file size.
   • For example: Lambda Lustre, 30x48, 4 feet.
   • or Enhanced Matte, 60x24, 2 feet
5. Include a mailing address if you wish to have the files shipped.
6. When finished press "SEND IT"

Shipping & Delivery:

All orders will be considered FOB 105 Vanderhoof Avenue, Toronto. Packaging and shipping via FedEx to be provided at additional cost.
 

Archiving of Images:

Elevator keeps files for the duration of production only. Please notify us when placing your order if you wish to have the flattened printing .tiff files and/or the Lambda .PPM files archived to a CD-ROM. A $5 additional cost per disc will incur.
